Please software devs - old versions sometimes better than new ones

Typical example here is the AVG Video converter -- this old release works really well converting 1:1 a file forom mwts to mkv format without loss of format etc.




the latest version is a hodgepodge and really complicated to do a simple file conversion at 1:1

Please developers keep stuff functional -- and don't remove easy features from old versions.

I figured that one out a while back. I think it's job security.
If devs and programmers aren't constantly changing things, they worry that they'll be out of a job.

After a while, quality takes a back seat to quantity. In some jobs like... fly swatter manufacture, it doesn't really matter. But when it comes to things like software... efficiency and intuitiveness, should always be number one.
