How Do I Run a Program as Administrator All the Time?

I think that I have done a method before. I am not sure. My username in Windows 10 is not Administrator, and there are no shield icons anywhere. And, when I just hit Enter on a highlighted program, it is running in Administrator Mode.

For example, when I just hit Enter on a cmd.exe software, it is running in Administrator Mode. I am trying to know what I did before.

I don't know how you did it before, but I just find the program's executable, make a shortcut from that, and on the shortcut's property sheet, (shortcut tab), I click advanced and check the box that says: Run as Administrator.

For example, I did that for the Command Prompt and for Powershell. Then, in my case I just pinned them to the taskbar.
You could also pin them to the Start Menu as well.

/e I don't know if you will have the same options on a non-administrators account.

Here, for example is the property sheet of the shortcut to Registry editor.

Once you set the shortcut to "Run as Administrator", the program will always run as Administrator, if you start it with the shortcut.

Here is the result of my doing this to cmd.exe
...and it actually runs cmd.exe as Administrator.

I've been doing it like this since Windows XP, I think.
