Crucial Storage Executive are installed, but I can't open the app!

I have the laptop Acer Aspire A315-21-95KF Windows 10 Pro 240 GB SSD RAM 8 GB Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.388) from the factory that comes with HDD and I change it for SSD, since it is recommended to download this software (Crucial Storage Executive) to optimize the SSD and manage various options such as lifespan etc. Only once I set it up and continued working in the background did I check it with the task manager. I see the cache works, but I try to open the application to manage other functions that it shows, but the application does not open, the logo appears and in about 5-8 seconds and disappears, it cannot be opened, I try with the privileges of administrator, ... and nothing, I have contacted Customer Service, but they do not have any recommendation about it, how can I solve this problem, any suggestion, please?

It takes about 20 seconds to open completely on one of our systems with a Crucial SSD.

    The current version is 6.04.042020.06

Note that this works for Crucial SSD's only.

I bought a Crucial SSD several years ago for a self-built PC and still use it without issues.

Within a few weeks of installing it, I downloaded Storage Executive and immediately wished I hadn't.

I can't recall exactly what the problem was, but I went to the Crucial forum and saw that a lot of people had issues with it. So I deleted it and never regretted it. Windows does whatever it wants to with my Crucial SSD and that has worked well for me. I can get SMART info, remaining life estimates, etc without Storage Executive.

We have it installed, but rarely use it.

Last time was when we checked for firmware updates.

There were security issues with some of the MX drives.

Recommended by whom ? (Crucial, I bet!)

Got 4 devices - 2 laptops with 1TB Crucial SSD each, and 2 desktops each with 2 x 1TB Crucial SSDs, .... and none of these devices has ever seen - or needed - this software.

Rid your system of it. One of the advantages of SSDs is they need less "maintenance" than all the faffing about HDD need (optimisation, defragging, etc). Bit of a TRIM now and then is all, and Windows 10 can look after that if you want it.

Same here. It opens with a blank window. The correct screen briefly appears when you close the window. I removed it using using Revo and reinstalled but the same happened. This is junk poorly tested software. I've now removed it and try try it again when I see a report here it works again.
