I have abandoned PEBakery, which is too difficult for an idiot like me to use. I would stick with WimBuilder2, which is intended for the Chinese.
of course, we all tend to use what achieves our goals best for ourselves and are most comfortable using.

from my perspective, coming from a WinBuilder background, PEBakery is a modern, actively developed, easy to use, builder that's compatible with all the projects I wish to use and would recommend it to anyone.

    But, everyone to their own

Hello, which newest PEBakery scricpt engine i should use?

    I'm only find

    Release Prerelease Beta 6 . pebakery/pebakery . GitHub

    Prerelease Beta 6 Pre-release
    @ied206 ied206 released this 31 Oct 2019
    @APT38
but PEBakery is under active development whilst WinBuilder dev stopped a long long time ago. circa 1992
In the case PEBakery active development a last release 2019?

Which Windows 10 original x64 or x86 ISO sources supports PEBakery?

    Best regards

    Hi thomm

mmm.. If you look closer, say GitHub - pebakery/pebakery: PEBakery is a script engine that specializes in customizing the Windows Preinstalled Environment (WinPE/WinRE). scroll down the page to nightly builds, you will find the latest nightly release was updated 9 hours ago.

You can find the Win10 versions recommended to use on GitHub - ChrisRfr/Win10XPE: Win10XPE is a Complete Project Based on Win10, Win11 Recovery Environment With Many Windows Features Added... preferably d/l from the techbench link shown on the first page of Win10xPE

    Hello, thank's

Win10XPE supports Windows 10 original x64 or x86 ISO sources:

Windows 10 1709 (Fall Creators Update)
Windows 10 1803 (Spring Creators Update)
    Windows 10 1809 (Oct 2018 Update)
    Windows 10 1903 (May 2019 Update)
    Windows 10 1909 (Nov 2019 Update)
    Windows 10 20H1 (May 2020 Update)
    Windows 10 20H2 (Oct 2020 Update)
    Windows 11 (22000.194)
Did you know, why Bakery doesn't supports Windows 10 21H1 or 21H2?

    HI

it's not PEBakery or WinBuilder not supporting the windows versions, it's the projects (Win10xPE in this case) having problems because of certain MS distribution iso's.

update packages were not added to winre.wim, as it is normally done! And so, the Versions between winre.wim and Install.wim do not match and that is the source of incompatibilities and problems.
    caused directly by MS

    PEBakery-nightly-rt.7z 2022-01-07
    PEBakery-nightly-sc.7z 2022-01-07

    windowsdesktop-runtime-6.0.1-win-x64.exe
    dotnet-runtime-6.0.1-win-x64.exe

If i use the WinXPE.exe, the builder starts without problem.

    @ thomm

I've just redownloaded to check for you

    WIn10XPE_2022-01-07.zip
    PEBakery-nightly-sc.7z 2022-01-07

extracted to a folder as discussed, made an exception to that folder in the a/v, selected a OS in the first script, (OS extracted to a folder in my case)
they run and create an iso without problem, using either builder

    None

    PEBakery-nightly-sc : Standalone binary

Starting from beta 7, PEBakery runs on .NET 6.

    • Standalone Nightly do not require any runtime installed, but runs only on x64 Windows.

sorry, I have no idea what you may have done or not done to give your problems.

why are you asking about the dir structure of PEBakery's binary folder, because you don't need to access it at all, to complete a build, or are you concerned about it not extracting correctly
