I've always used everything in Italian. But I'd like to try the English version. Can you tell me how?

Given your problem is in an Italian situation and applies to a number of PCs, that tends to suggest some issue in contacting MS's server for interpretation and processing.

You could try changing your DNS (DNSjumper (free) is convenient for this) - but it could be some other reason. Occasionally there are problems experienced in accessing some aspect of MS's servers in some regions.

Assuming the base language of your O/S is Italian (you can check):
See System Default UI Language of Windows 10

you need to use language packs (various) depending on what you want to change, from speech to the GUI to input.

As usual the Tutorial section offers help. Here is a selection I have found by searching this list:
    Windows 10 Tutorial Index

    for language

Change Speech Recognition Language in Windows 10
Add or Remove Keyboard Layouts in Windows 10
Add, Remove, and Change Display Language in Windows 10
Change Display Language in Windows 10
Turn On or Off Language Bar and Input Indicator in Windows 10
Set Default Keyboard Input Language in Windows 10
Add a Language in Windows 10

N.B. no longer valid from 2004:
Change Cortana Language in Windows 10

    Thank you very much.

I tried reminders with Cortana in English (United Kingdom) and it worked.

Unfortunately as a solution for me it is not acceptable, but at least I excluded a hardware problem.

So the only solution that remains would be to try if the microsoft solved the problem with the new version 2004.
But I still don't understand why before September 2019 it worked and then it stopped. Or at least I doubt that there's a problem in the microsoft cloud/database.

Could I open a question about how to install the 2004 version in the most painless way possible to do a test?

Hi, installing 2004 is currently not recommended- indeed MS has withdrawn it from being offered to people. The number of issues quirks and oddities is growing.

You could install any older build of Win 10 on a spare disk if you wished, keeping your current one as is.

Older builds are downloadable- see the relevant section in the tutorial on how to download a Win 10 iso.

    What you've found suggests either
    - a problem accessing servers handling Italian (or however MS processes speech)
    or
    - a problem in the configuration of your Italian language settings

What is the base language of your O/S?

I'm going to wait since I tried the 1809, 1903 and 1909 and it doesn't work.

    I use Italian.

Cortana recognizes the other commands (I haven't tried them all) but the reminders seem like the only ones that give trouble.

Have you asked your friends or relatives if they have the same problem?

I only tried from my nephew's PC, and it doesn't work.

Anyway now I'm asking others if they have the same problem.

I'm going to let you know.

EDIT: Does it work in Italian for you?

Sorry, I don't want to change my language packs... It will clearly be interesting if it's a general Italian issue, build independent.

I contacted 4 people , I am waiting for response.

I recommend to those who want to do a test with a language pack different from the default( example add the Italian language pack) to still make a full backup because I despite having reset the original language pack, I noticed a difference in the type of error reported by Cortana .

It became :"I'm sorry in this case I can't help you." , before it was "I'm sorry, an error has occurred, try again in a little while"

    hello everyone,

I was able to have only 3 Italian people take the test.

Two have the same problem as me, one person does not.

So in total with me 3 out of 4 people have the same problem. (75%)
