So, I created a reg file to remove all CCleaner bloatware automatically after installing it, but from time to time, I notice that CCleaner automatically reverts to the default settings. How is that possible that a software can change registry keys on its own while being closed?
Probably changes as soon as it's opened and connects to the Internet.
Add a firewall rule to block outgoing connections from CCleaner.
Hey I had the same problem even though it's blocked in Firewall. At least once per day it reverts everything.
I use a shorcut on my desktop that ponts to an Elevated Shortcut to a batch file to run Ccleaner. The reg file restores my settings evey launch.
