From the huge tenforums tutorial library
    Windows 10 Tutorial Index

    try the appropriate option here:
Reinstall and Re-register Apps in Windows 10

Hello, Thank you for your reply.

I note you have not stated your Windows build number as the forum prompted you to do to save us asking. Could you please do so.

If 'neither of them didn't work', that literally means at least one did. (Double negative).

When you say 'didn't work' please clarify- do you mean
    a: the command failed
    or
b: the command completed successfully but had no effect?

If a: please post a screenshot thus:
    calculator/mail doesn't work-screenshot-copy1.png

showing the command you ran, the title bar of the box, and the result.

Alternatively, assuming this has just started to happen, consider using a System Restore point if you have one available.

MS's UWP apps suddenly closing is a commonly reported problem. You can find example threads if you search tenforums.

    E.g.
Windows Apps Close Immediately After Launching

    See post #36

    Thanks.

    second command
    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Please see my point about your Windows build. Specify that, post back, then proceed with the second part of my previous post from 'Alternatively..'

    Windows key + r, winver

type the result in your post, or better in your specs. See 'My computers' under my post, and note I have it under my avatar too.

There's a tutorial if you need it in the Tutorial section.

For an in-place upgrade repair install you need an iso of the SAME build as you have installed.

To get one see the tutorial on downloading an iso file.
