HP New Pc -HP True Vision Camera what software do I need?

I have just got a HP All In One 24 flxx Windows 10 PC
It has a HP True Vision HD Camera which works fine.
But I cant seem to find any software on the computer to enable me to video chat with it
Am I missing something or do I have to download sofware?
Only want it for basic chatting to friends and family.

Should work automatically when using Skype or similar. To check the camera open the Camera app in the start list.

Do you have Skype? You should be able to add a contact and start a video call. So long as the recipient also uses Skype. I don't use Zoom but that seems to be the flavour of the month.

All you had to do was click someones name and you got a tiny video lol

It's quite straightforward as long as the person you call uses Skype. Facebook's Messenger also has the ability and the app is in Windows Store.

Is Skype more private to use my phone number or email account?
