    Asus motherboard and folder

I have a n Asus board on a PC made for me. I was looking at some folders and found an Asus folder under program files that is almost 500 MB.
Before I ramble, I would not mind deleting it if it is manuals etc.
Could you help me with this please?

At a guess its drivers and utils for the MB the question is how old is it as they may all be out of date

Most begin with DRV so you are right.
Any way to see if it safe to remove or should it remain.

    I will.
Do you know who installs these, the mother board or Windows OS?
    Then again maybe Asus download/update.

I had a thought that when the board was flashed this folder might have been created?

It is a moot point, I was just curious.

    Hi maranna

From my experience, when you download and run any driver/utility from Asus it's default unpacking dir. is C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS so as Samuria suggests - worth keeping, or backing up off boot drive in case of a reload
