Assuming the elevated desktop shortcut created by my script works, why do you need another shortcut?

Because yours schortcut could not be detected by a program called Riva Tuner Statistics Server ( in conjuction with MSI Afterburner). It is a program that is used for monitoring CPU ,GPU temps ,RAM usage , FPS counter etc. in on-screen display while playing games.

Ask the question there: Open command window here as administrator - Add in Windows 10

Dear Brink, I need some help from you.

When I try to launch one game (ArmA ) I get the following error:
"This app has been blocked for your protection An Administrator has blocked you from running this app.For more information, contact the administrator."

I guarantee with 100 % , that the game is safe for running,so I would please you to help me resolve this issue,in order I play the game without the need of disabling the UAC.

My Win 10 OS version is : 1909 (OS Build 18363.778)

    Please help me.

@tenmen, you should explicitly tell Brink that you want a desktop shortcut as your problem has already been solved below:

The members from this forum, solved the problem with the UAC,but now I need a desktop shortcut which could be detected by RivaTunerStatisticsServer in order I monitor the CPU/GPU temps and FPS counter in on-screen display while playing this game.

From your post in the other thread, it appears that you basically just ran the file from an elevated command prompt.

... so I'm not sure why directly using "Run as administrator" on the file didn't work for you in your other post in the same other thread.

Because when I try to launch the game from the shortcut on the desktop in the cmd, I get the following error:

As a test, use the C:\Users\User\Desktop\arm.exe full path of the .exe file in the elevated command prompt instead of just the arma.exe file name.
