Can't install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 after reformat

Hey guys,

So i recently had to reformat my pc back to Base Windows 10. I've been trying to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 since my laptop doesn't have any of these installed anymore, but when I click the .exe nothing happens. At the same time, if I try to install an Nvidia driver, it says "dynamic link library dll initialization failed" and doesn't install it. Are these things related? Do I have to update my Windows 10 to the newest version?

[1] Did you run WU to check if it is available?
[2] Where did you download the .exe from to install?
[3] Do you get any error messages or error codes?
[4] If so, can you please post them.
[5] Have you run sfc /scannow, if so, what were the results?
