MadVR works fine on default but I will post my settings if you want to try them.

Any problem just run uninstall.bat then reinstall it.

Just a tip. In PotPlayer right click inside the window when a video is playing to access most of the settings.

Thank you. I'll set these as suggested. The problem with all these parameters is that it's very difficult for one to get them right unless they know exactly what each one does and this is why I avoided to go in depth into madVR in the past.

No need to go into depth. The developer wrote it to detect and apply settings automatically to improve playback but you can experiment.

Adware cleaner from Malwarebytes did not report any problems after I installed Pot player.

It scans clean with all security that I've got and it's not all listed here:

    Some other info:

Disable update checks and save settings to .ini.file. Then update manually by installing Filehippo version straight over the top of the currently installed version.

There's no real need to update except if a new must have feature is added, or there is a security fix or bug fix.

    Video quality tweak:

Hide controls during playback which are then hover activated when moving your mouse to the top or bottom of the playback window.

    Always use MadVR:

Thank you for your assistance. It will be very useful for me.

As regards FusionCore I found this discussion at Malwarebytes that may be of interest. I'll do a search for hYEBnFBwH.dll on my laptop and I'll post here if I find it anywhere.

That's an old thread and I belive that it relates to the method used to download additional codec packs on install. The file in question is a temp file that is deleted after install.

Well my search didn't find that file. One may presume that it's indeed deleted if it were copied in the temp folder in the first place.
