    Exe files missing

Logged on to find one of my shortcuts “Streamlabs chat bot” isn’t working. Getting the error that it’s moved. I did a search and the only results were in a deep folder under user\appdata\local\packages\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy\localstate\appiconcache\100.

There just there as “files” with no type associated so I can’t use them. The uninstaller file is there too so I can’t remove the program.

Tried looking in regedit (not super skilled at using this) and couldn’t find anything there either.

    What can I do?

Have you tried to re-install without uninstalling?

If you click Start and start typing Streamlabs, does an app show in results.

    Revo-uninstaller may assist in removal.

Re-install the application. It should be as simple as that.

The location you mention seems to be an Icon cache of no consequence. Looks to be regenerated at sometime.

Revo can be damaging, I don't use it anymore because of that experience, which meant re-installing Windows as well.

Hi both - it reinstalled fine, and doing that didn’t create 2 instances in Apps, so I guess it’s ok. I just get very disturbed when programs just vanish!
