How to record audio from OneNote's Immersive Reader?
Immersive Reader for OneNote offers a fantastic text-to-speech capability. Very natural-sounding voice.
However, how do you record that speech as an audio file you can access later?

If your PC has Stereo Mix capability (set as Input device) that allows recording what you are hearing on the PC speakers. A program such as the free Audacity will record from the Stereo Mix and allow you to save the file as a .wav audio file.
Audio Editing Software. Sound, Music, Voice & Mp3 Editor

That sounds very complex. Is that program easy to use? I would just need it for this purpose.
I just tried it using WavePad and it recorded background audio, me clicking and sound of the Immersive Reader coming out of my headphones, lol.
How do I get it to record the source audio for the Immersive Reader?

You might have some luck with one of the various products from Totalrecorder.com.
I did well with them over 10 years ago, but have not investigated since. They might be easier than Audacity for a new user.
They aren't free, but pretty cheap.
I think they have trial versions.

Never mind, I figured out a super simple solution to this.
- Enable and make default device "stereo mix" under control panel->sound->recording
- Open Voice Recorder app that comes with Windows 10
- Press record and run Immersive Reader
