    Hi,

the reason why you did not experience this bug again was that this issue was fixed with the 1511 Win 10 update.

That's pretty , much what I figured. Thanks for the confirmation.

Just guessing here, but you may need to open a save dialog and re-size it for a key to be re-created. Interestingly, I recently built a new system, installed Windows 10 fresh on a bare drive, installed CS 6 and this system doesn't have the save dialog bug. I can re-size the window up and down at will and it does not get stuck.

So this bug MAY be related to installing Windows 10 over a previous version of Windows OR, a patch or update somewhere between Windows 10's release and the current disc that's shipping from retailers, fixed whatever the issue is/was.
I updated my Windows and it worked, thank you!!

I hope my input can help someone with the same type of problem in the future.
My problem – the Chrome browser “Save As” window somehow got stuck in a much too large position and the size could not be adjusted. By opening several other browsers (Firefox, MS Edge), I was able to confirm that this problem was ONLY related to the Chrome browser:
Thanks to ALL of the tips in this forum thread, I was able to do the following:
Using a text-to-hexadecimal converter, I found the settings in the Reg Edit CIDSizeMRU and LastVisitedPidIMRU sub-directories specifically related to the Chrome browser (“chrome” in hex is “63 68 72 6f 6d 65” - in the Reg Edit sub-directories, “00” is inserted between each of those number sets). These numbers are the first numbers in the Hex string.
I backed up (exported) both of these sub-directories
I then closed out of Chrome and uninstalled it
I then went back into the 2 Reg Edit sub-directories and deleted the entries specifically related to the Chrome browser
Then I closed out of Reg Edit, shut down the PC and re-started the PC
Last, I reinstalled Chrome on the PC
When I re-opened Chrome , the “Save As” window was back to a smaller size and the increase, decrease of the window size worked normally.
