software that allow cursor to drag across screen in straight line.

as title suggests, I need a software that can assist me dragging mouse across a straight line across the screen at any given height value Y, perfectly horizontal line. (also if it has vertical will be great too).

something along the lines of forcing mouse cursor to stay at minimum height on screen will work too until I alt+f4 the software.

    please help.

I think it will help you get more relevant suggestions if you explain what you are trying to achieve.

And there might be other ways to achieve it.

Sounds like some architectural/design program would work. I recall seeing AutoCAD in use in a building/bridge engineering firm back in the days of DOS and the use of a 3-button mouse.

I use this built in Windows function called Mouse Keys in:

Control Panel > Ease of Access > Make the mouse easier to use

Use Mouse Keys to move the mouse pointer

Most drawing programs have option to hold Shift while drawing a line to be horizontal.

You're welcome even lovely MS Paint can do that, horizontal as well as vertical.

it isn't drawing that I needed this for. I have a legacy software that doesnt have a lot of feature/function and I needed something straight as it uses mouse to drag across within the software and this mousekey did the trick.
