Do I need this? It came up on my computer after I signed up for this forum. What do I need to do? It can be deleted? I updated a few individually and some said they can't be updated and asked if I wanted to exclude them next time? Don't want to pay $30 to auto update. Help me understand.

It is nothing to do with WinZip either.
- I have WinZip and have never heard of payment for updates.
- I have checked their online Help and there is no mention of
- - paying for updates
- - "WinZip driver updater"
You are being conned by one of those useless driver update utilities - search for WinZip driver Updater online and you'll see.
Scan your computer for malware in case the useless utility was used as a cover to install anything else.

I can now see on the WinZip site that if I select Products, WinZip system tools I am taken to an entirely different website and that one does have "WinZip driver updater" in its product range. So there's no reason to think the OP has been attacked by malware unless the circumstances of acquiring "WinZip driver updater" are suspicious [which they still seem, to me, to be.]

To add to the above, you really don't need any Zip utilities since the function is built into Windows 10. The only reason for using other utilities would be if you need functions other than just creating/ extracting Zip's.

WinZip was bought out by Corel and since then Corel have been trying to monetise the WinZip brand name with a number of paid-for products, none of which are necessary. What you are seeing is an advert, if you have WinZip installed then that is probably the source. I'd uninstall it and use the free 7-Zip.
