    Can't install software error 0x80070643


    Hi,

    Can't install software error 0x80070643

    New build, I've been playing with settings for almost a day. I did use Windows10debloater and after that I tried to reinstall the software to control the RGB on my Gskill neo ram sticks. I get an error message every time! I tried to reboot many time, no luck. I also tried to do a point restore before I did the debloater, no luck. I also changed few settings in bios since yesterday but i doubt its bios related..

    The software in question is Trident z lightning control v1.00.17

    Trident z lightning control
    - perhaps Trident z lighting control - unless you have an upgraded version

    A guess might suggest something related to .NET framework. Try repairing it using the repair tool mentioned here:

    I also tried to do a point restore before I did the debloater, no luck.
    - do you mean restoring failed to complete, or that it completed successfully, and you still had the problem?

    If the latter, the problem may be unrelated to this debloater script.

    I somehow found the issue. The software was trying to create a service and Armoury Crate (aura related) was already installed. It is a pain to fix (at least for me), you cannot just uninstall Armoura/Aura. Ive been able to install the Trident software but it was unable to link to the memory stick (because some aura/armoury services was still running) and since it was a fresh windows I simply reinstalled windows and avoided to install armoury.

    I somehow fixed half the issue and got lazy and tired...
