    Skype has disappeared

Starting about a week ago Skype no longer appears in my Systray. It's still listening because when someone sends a message it comes up but when I want to send I can no longer find it.

Open Skype then go to Settings/General and toggle "Show Skype in Windows notification area (System Tray). If it's off toggle it ON but if it's already OFF then toggle it OFF then ON again. You may need to restart you PC for the change to take effect.

This is exactly why I don't use the App version of Skype. I use the DL'able version of it. Even though it's the same thing, version/build, it's just seems to work better for me.

I have the MS Store version and this is my General menu:

Maybe delete the app and reinstall it? I'm pretty sure all of your settings are stored in your MS Account.

Could you possibly right click the taskbar icon after launching and pin to taskbar?
