    Windows Phone app stopped working

Today I wanted to send some texts and since I was in front of my computer screen and my phone was chilling on the bed, I wanted to launch Windows phone app as I was doing many times before. Only this time the icon of the app in the start menu was dark blue instead of light blue as previously and when I clicked on it, there was only blue shape of the phone on a white background wit a Microsoft sign beneath it and that's it. After being like that for about 5min, the window closes itself. Now I don't think I changed some settings since it was working. If I did, I certainly don't remember doing so. Why did the app stop working?

Does this help! => Reinstall and Re-register Apps in Windows 10.

I gotta tell you, that Your Phone app is temperamental as hell. I just went through the same nonsense in having to unlink and relink the phone because the app quit working.

As for app color changes causing/being the causes of issues is a new one. Never seen of heard of that one
