    hey, I am using the same device i.e. HD Pro Webcam C920 but my driver version is on v1.3.89.0 dated 24.10.2018. Tired to update that via device manager but no v1.3.92.0 for my device so can anyone share the link for that newer version 1.3.92.0?

    Hi SM03: I believe mine updated to 1.3.92.0 via Windows Update or a Windows Version Update.

    FWIW... my camera still does not work in Skype, Skype for Business, or Google Meet. Works fine in Zoom, Messenger, Messenger Rooms, and Microsoft Teams and GoToMeeting.

    I have not yet installed the May 2020 version update due to reading about various issues.

    Thanks,
    Brian

    Hi @RustyFalcon, Thanks for informing that. I a on Win10 May 2020 update but Windows didn't update the driver module for my C920 & am still on the same old 2018 driver version 1.3.89.0

    So as you too ahve the same model of this hardware, so when you upgrade to the latest Win10 May 2020 version, let me know about the driver version that you got & also the compatibility with the other video calling softwares that you've mentioned here.

    Good morning, SM03.

    Question . . . Does your Logitech C920 webcam work with Skype? I'm using Skype for Desktop version 8.60.0.76 and a Logitech C270 webcam at the moment.

    Good! I'm thinking of upgrading to the C920, but wanted to be sure it will actually work with Skype, since I teach Windows 10 to a Senior Citizen group and am a Senior Citizen student in a Genealogy class.

    I am running Windows 10 version 2004 19041.329 and updated to Skype version 8.61.0.87 this morning. I'll be using it in my Skype class on Wednesday. (Not everyone has been offered the Windows 10 2004 update yet.)

    @RustyFalcon

    Have you considered an update to Windows 10 version 2004 19041.329 to see if your webcam will work with it? I'd suggest a clean install if you do consider it. Start with a clean slate . . .

    I've been using Win10 v2004 since Jan 2020 & no major issue so far in these 6 months, and I always do clean installation FYI.

    I used to do clean installs regularly, but haven't for awhile. Everything seems to be working fine, but if I have any serious problems, you can bet I'll be doing another clean one . . .

    The only reason I suggested a clean install for Rusty is that there may be tentacles of "who knows what" lurking that are keeping his C920 from working with Skype.

    Yes indeed considering it. I always hold off a week or two on major version updates to see what bugs will shake out. I am crossing my fingers that doing so with the camera installed will 'clean out the cobwebs' so to speak! Thanks!
