OK, for clarity... right click the file, click Properties, go to the General tab (if not shown)…
Apparently I neglected to mention when you right click the file you need to go to Properties then click the General tab if not shown. Sorry, I thought this was understood.
Anyway as I said, "if" the unblock box isn't there no need to worry about it and my suggestion is invalid.
Good luck.
I missed it because every link I right click in the downloading sequence never gets me General Window in the Audio Workshop PC zip Properties window.
Tell me at what point I am to "right click" the file, because, at every step, if I am able, I right click the file, and nothing close to the above graphic appears:
This is the sequence I am following as I attempt to download this file:
I download the "Dak's Audio Workshop for Windows" link from the email.
Link confirmation. Continue.
In This PC, in Documents, Audio-Workshop-PC appears in the File Name window. In the Save As Type window appears WinRAR ZIP archive.
I click Save.
It downloads.
I click it open.
In the This PC area, in the Documents section, appears Dak_AudioWorkshop_InstallFile.
( I right click here, but the General tab does not appear. I continue.)
I Extract all.
Window appears: Files will be extracted to this folder: C:\Users\Anthony\Dicuments\Audio-Workshop-PC. I check: Show extracted files when complete.
I click Extract.
A window appears of This Pc, Documents location, with Dak_AudioWorkshoo_InstallFile listed. I right click. Again, the General tab in Audio Workshop PC zip properties does not appear I click Run As Administrator.
User Account Control appears: do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? I click yes.
A Setup DAC audio Workshop window opens up: Welcome to the Dak audio Workshop setup wizard. I click next.
I clicked the I accept the agreement. I click on next.
A window with setup DAK audio Workshop appears. Select destination location, where should DAK audio Workshop be installed. Setup will install DAK audio Workshop into the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)DAK Audio Workshop. I click Next.
Setup DAK audio Workshop window appears. Select start menu folder: where should set up place the programs shortcut. Set up will create the program shortcut in The following start menu folder: DAK audio Workshop. I click next.
I click create a desktop icon.
Next.
Ready to Install...etc.
I click Install.
Installing.
Completing the DAK audio Workshop setup wizard. Launch deck audio Workshop. I click finish.
The wheel spins on the pointer arrow.
Nothing happens. It doesn't launch.
There is a DAK Icon on Home Page. I right click on that. The General tab does not appear.
I am sorry if I appear dense. I really am not. I am extremely frustrated, mostly with DAK themselves. They have been useless throughout this ordeal. I know it is something simple I am missing. I am not a computer expert and I bow to everyone in this forum who has superior knowledge. Please be patient. If you can help, I will be extremely grateful. Otherwise, I will be without an application that has been a part of my life for a long time, and I would hate to be without it, though I may have to resign myself to the fact that this may be more difficult for me to comprehend and fix.

Just a closing note: I have finally resolved my computer issue, no thanks to any of the help I have received. There was basic information that was never asked for nor needed. Try as I might, I feel inadequate posting any questions. Therefore, I often am reluctant posting anything. I will not divulge how I finally resolved my computer issue. I am just thrilled my problem is solved. Just a suggestion: please do not assume people are as high of a level of computer knowledge as you. Often we are desperate for help. Please be a little humble in assuming we know what we are doing. We often do not. Anyway enough from me. I pray I do not need any more Windows help, although I am glad to know something like this exists, and will only use it as a very last resort.

I am having the exact same problem installing DAK audio Workshop on a Windows 10 machine, in my case, Windows 10 Home 64-bit version. I would appreciate knowing how you solved the problem. I have no part in your argument, and I'm a Music Guy myself, as well as a Windows expert.
Thanks, Richard
