Anyone familiar with minitool partition wizard from usb?

So i forget why as it was weeks back, but i was attempting an action with minitool that basically resulted in the realization it had to be done from a bootable environment.

i noticed the application has a bootable media button right in it, so i figured NBD.

well i got around to making one, and booted to test it - and i was greeted with a minitool wallpaper, overlaid with a command prompt window.

is this par for the course? I was under the impression i'd be greeted with the minitool GUI?

Indeed it should boot to a usable GUI.

However most operations should be capable of being specified when booted normally, then you click Apply when happy, and you will be prompted to reboot as necessary for those to be implemented before Windows starts.

This (a bit older) shows creation and boot.
