Unable to download movie that I have paid for - error 0xc101ab66

The Films and TV app throws error 0xc101ab66 whenever I attempt to download the movie I have purchased from Windows Store.

I have not been able to find information about this error or any way to solve the download problem.

    The attachment shows the issue

    Can anyone help?

Did you check to see if there was an issue with payment? Check your email. Also, you could log into your Microsoft account to see if the movie is there. If not, you know there's an issue which may require you to contact Microsoft.

BTW that's a great movie (The Bridge on the River Kwi). I'd seen it when I was a kid, and just watched it again two months ago after purchasing the Blu-ray two disc collector's edition.

There are no payment problems - movie shows up as purchased on my Microsoft account and in the app. I just can't download it using the app (which seems to be the only way to get it).

I am a not using an x-box console to download it.

You don't need an x-box console for that.

Anyway you might have to contact Microsoft as to why you can't download something you paid for. And for the record, I bought a game from the Microsoft Store and was able to download without issue, and I too don't have an x-box.

Point being you should be able to do the same with the movie you purchased.
