    how disable descriptive windows classic shell icons when hovering 1909

    Now when I hover over a start menu icon in the classic shell start menu a descriptive window opens now (1909).

    How can I disable this?

    I've just gone thru all options in Settings, and did not find a way to disable the popup text. Sorry.

    how disable descriptive windows Classic Shell icons when hovering

    When I hover over a start menu icon in the Classic Shell Start Menu a descriptive window opens now (1909)

    This never happened before in 1803 and every version up to and including 1903 in the past several years

    I have eliminated these in the Desktop icons now

    How can I also disable this in the Classic Shell Start Menu?

    Long narrow white box in this example when the mouse is on Mobile Partner icon in the Classic Shell Start Menu. It is written in the box/window: "Location: Mobile Partner ("C:\ Program Files (x86) \ Mobile Partner)"

    had to use webcam and mirror, sorry for unclarity in photo

    I don't know if this helps => Disable hovering for jumplists.

    @Airider

    I believe I have found the setting. The wording made it harder to find. Classic Shell calls them "Info Tips", i.e Tool Tips in Windows. Set this to 0,0 as shown, and your hover over text should be gone. (I'm using Open Shell, but the settings are the same)
