I have just installed Windows 10 into my personal computer. I would like to ope some files that are in SHN, but I need help. Please provide information on how to do so. Thank you.
Hi muzikgeye had had to look up what SHN files are and take it the files you have are some kind of audio? you could try winamp or foobar2000 but you will need plugins for either program for them to play the SHN files. i'm ssure some one else will be along shortly with someother advice if these programs don't work. good luck my friend!
OK, I downloaded the winamp program successfully. Now, these SHN files come to me in a zip file. Now I think I opened the zip file. But all the files must be opened with the Adobe Acrobat Document. These files are supposed to be music files, so I do not understand why they are not able to be opened. Well, open clicking the Open prompt, they automatically go to Adobe, which will not open them. I can not prompt the files to be open with my new winamp program. When adding files from Winamp, it is unable to locate the file.I can not even open them with my new winamp .
Hmm strange that adobe acrobat wants to open them as fas as i know its for pdf files and not music files. when you right click on one of the SHN files do you get a choice of which program to open them with in the context menu? look for 'open with' and then more apps and see if winamp is there?. im sure theres someone here that should be able to help further if that doesn't work. just a thought which version of winamp did you download? the current version winamp 5.8 should contain the plugin to play the SHN files.
Its opening with adobe as best guess you should be able to open by right clciling file and choose open with and select winamp
