    If you get an error then there's a problem with your old libreoffice installation and it has not been fully removed.

    Here I installed 32bit libre office on 64bit windows - no problem.

    You do not always need to use 64bit software on 64bit windows. Example: Typically I refer to install 32bit versions of browsers on 64bit windows.
    Uninstall:
