    Find installed program

I have a piece of software that runs even though I think ive deleted it.

Clicking the bottom left wi does icon I type the name and I then see it shown but the only option is pin to start.

How do I find the path to delete it correctly.

The best option I know of is Microsoft's own Autoruns

This will show everything that loads with windows on startup

Be aware that this can look a little overwhelming as there are many of them

To make things easier there is an option on the menu to remove microsoft entries, to prevent any accidental deletions of essentials

There are multiple tabs that list what loads at various triggers from the Operating system, start with "Logon" and then "WinLogin" which is the most likely the third item is "Scheduled tasks" which is used by some developers.

There is a checkbox at the far left of each row in the list, unchecking this will stop the load on boot, ther is also a right click delete option for when you are absolutely sure you have the correct item

There are various Right Click/Menu items to check full details of each entry and even check online for possible issues with the item

    I think ive deleted it.
    Deleted? Or uninstalled?

Now you know what it is- and from Autoruns you can get useful info on where it is- do you have any options to uninstall it e.g. here:

If not, a program like Revo Uninstaller's Forced Uninstall feature lets you browse to a folder or exe - program leftovers- and scan for remnants you can review and then have it remove.

Personally I typically use Geek Uninstaller to uninstall programs- like Revo, the normal uninstall is run, followed by a scan for leftovers- often there are some. Not all authors create 100% effective uninstall routines.
