Questions about PotPlayer and Audio Player Recommendations

    Great! Thank you! I just wanted confirmation that the installer didn't have the bundled software offer. I installed PotPlayer on a test machine so I will wait until the next version is released, let the software update and see if any ads are bundled there.

    My update method has always been disable auto updates and install manually. Anyway unless there's a bug fix and PotPlayer isn't working correctly or unless there's a fixed security vulnerability there's really no need to update.

    Last vulnerability disclosed was back in 2018.

    The other thing when updating either automatically or manually is to backup PotPlayer settings:

    Actually you just need to backup potplayermini.ini but I prefer to backup it's containing folder.

    That way if they are overwritten by an update (It happened on my machine in the past) then you've got a settings backup that can be restored.
