    Unable to open .bat file

As the title says - I'm unable to open .bat files and it's driving me absolutely nuts Previously I had Windows 7 and all was well until I upgraded. I miss using .bat files so much that if I can't solve this I will seriously consider going back to Windows 7 as I have a full copy of C: Drive before I updated. Anyway, if anyone can help me I would be eternally grateful. Plus I'm not sure if I've posted in the right part of the forum, if I haven't - my apologies (I did do a search first and didn't come up with anything that was about .bat files).

Yeeees I found one workaround that will have to do for now Online bat to exe at http://www.f2ko.de/en/ob2e.php and it worked, mind you Windows did make a bit of a fuss but hey I don't care - I won't let Windows 10 beat me down lol
