windows 10 can i safely remove Windows photo viewer

thank you all for your help but as i stated i can not change the imaging device to photo viewer ex because i need to be trusted installer and i can not configure trusted installer permissions that is why I can not change it. Any way than you all for your help on this issue. I will just use the window 10 photo viewer as default. Yoiu all have been very helpful and patient

Right click and restore previous version.
Maybe it has a restore point that will work.

Otherwise use sfc /scannow

If the SFC suggestion doesn't help, possibly followed up with a DISM restorehealth...

...then in 'Settings > Apps > Default apps' set Photos as the default Photo viewer. Then use the tutorial to Restore Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 10

Hopefully that should be sufficient to undo the changes you have made. If not, then you may need to do an in-place repair upgrade to undo the damage.
