    Is this W10 website useful?

    Just curious...

Intriguing- seems very honest and genuine e.g. comments about their multi-file explorer file manager.

Competition for SMACC and Heidoc iso downloader too..

    Hi folks

    looks OK
However what one person considers useful another might not -- A chef in a kitchen might not consider a JCB useful but a Civil engineering contractor certainly would !!!

One problem though -those file explorer things still make use of the basic Windows file explorer API so you still get garbage listings for path/folder/file lengths >266 chars.

The other area - some people love complex screen backgrounds etc -- I prefer the simple approach -- the plain screen of Windows 2000 for example -- but that's always a matter of personal preference.

I really don't like the tiles on W10 (got rid of those) - and I'm not bothered how Windows shutdown looks like -- I usually SSH it remotely anyway -- so long as it DOES shut down properly.

I've nothing against people developing stuff to improve the computing experience for users though and good luck to them and their users.

    Cheers

I use the "System Font Size Changer" by WinTools which is also recommended by Brink in this tutorial:

    They've got some useful stuff.
I use Advanced System Font Changer regularly,
have used Black NotePad in the past,
Explorer Commander is kinda neat for shuffling files around.
