Need a way to replace two gadgets

Hi folks, in moving from Win7 Pro to Win 10 Pro I will have to give up two beloved gadgets, All CPU Meter and Slideshow.exe. The CPU meter was a standard W7 gadget, so some of you may have seen it. I found the Slideshow.exe gadget on the web to replace the one I had used in Vista. The Vista slideshow came with a set of non-replaceable images. The one I found uses JPG images that I place in a file for it, and rotates through them in a space of about an inch and a half wide by an inch tall. I know that the size will depend on the monitor size and resolution, but this will give you an idea that the images are small.

I would dearly love to replace these gadgets with mini-programs that do the same thing, and would appreciate your advice!

A post in How-To Geek suggested seeing if these have been replicated in Rainmeter, and I have also posted my query there. I did check there soon after W10 came out, and no one had an answer at that time.

Try Open Hardware Monitor. Maybe that would be somewhat similar.

All CPU Meter is available for Windows 10 since the Windows 7 Gadgets are available to run on Windows 10. I use the Weather gadget with 6 cities where my family lives so I know the temp and weather there. Been using it since Windows 10 alpha days.

Edit: Also just noticed it has a Slideshow gadget. Maybe that will do what you want.

Some things have changed allgadgets have not been updated, you can replace nearly all the old ones and some new ones from Lgogo this is the website Down load the latest version of 8 Gadget Pack this all work quite well with Windows 10 and if your using Classic Shell now called Open Shell they also work well in that environment Here is a thread where we all discussed the ending of Classic Shell and the beginning of Open Shell.

Thank you so much to all of you. It looks like the 8-gadget pack will meet my needs.

I am glad that I waited to move to Windows 10, particularly because of the changes Microsoft went through with disabling them, and the availability of solutions!

I'm sure I will have lots more questions as I go forward.
