Is it my imagination or does every Support Assist app from every big company tend to, to be blunt, suck?HP, Dell, Intel, Alienware, etc.
They start out great, and then within a year or 2 it seems somebody flips a switch and Poof! Things don't gel.
HP has 3 software to check for drivers, BIOS, warranty, etc.
They vary by the model.
Support assist was for consumer but also worked on their business models.
Softpaq download manager was used on business models.
Their newest software, Image assist, has replaced the softpaq download manager.
I've removed all such Dell & HP bloatware from my PCs. I just peruse their support sites every few weeks for updates, The HP Image Assist is useful.
