    Onenote page keeps popping up

    Hi Guys
I am running Windows Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.476)
I have never used Onenote but since a recent Windows update I keep getting a blank Onenote page popping up on my screen
It started as just one page then doubled to two pages then four pages and currently I get eight pages pop up
I have tried removing the Onenote app but the problem is still there
This is annoying and I would appreciate any advice as how to stop it happening
    Regards Alan

    1. In Windows 10 simply hold down the + X keys and select the option “Windows PowerShell (Admin)” from the menu.

    2. Type following command and press Enter key.

    Code:
    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.Office.OneNote | Remove-AppxPackage
Above PowerShell command-line uninstalls OneNote app.

After uninstall completed you will see no output you can check Start Menu to find out if OneNote app uninstalled.

    Hi again
I had previously uninstalled the Onenote app
I have just rebooted my PC and 8 pop up pages are still appearing
It always happens a short time after my computer starts
The Onenote icon is still appearing in the small box in the bottom right hand corner of my screen
I have tried to attach a screen dump page showing the problem

Please open the Command Prompt by typing cmd.exe into Start Menu, right-click on Cmd.exe, and open it as an administrator.

    Execute following command:

    Code:
wmic STARTUP get /format:list | Clip
Above command will copy list of all startup programs into Windows clipboard please paste the clipboard content to your next post.

    Hi again Freebooter
Thanks for your patience and advice. By now you may have guessed that I am not computer smart
I have tried your last suggestion and a list of programs appear on a black screen (there are multiple pages)
However I am having a problem pasting it to the clipboard. All that happens when I right click is that the lines scroll.
If I click at the top of the screen I get an option to edit and select all but this makes the screen turn white and right clicking makes it go black again

Open Task Manager and from Startup tab disable OneNote 2007 Screen Clipper and Launcher.

    Hi again Freebooter
Thanks again for your reply and suggestion
I have now disabled OneNote 2007 Screen Clipper and Launcher and rebooted my PC
I have had it running for over two hours with no pop ups happening whereas before the pop ups would happen about 10 minutes after startup
Once again many thanks for your help
