OneDrive options showing up again out of the blue

    Windows 10 machine
I disabled/removed OneDrive upon getting the computer some years ago. Now when I'm trying to save a MS Word doc, there's a OneDrive option and showing my email address.
I do not want to see this option. How do I make it go away?
Additionally, how can I make sure something isn't happening in some mysterious OneDrive place online with my email address?
    Troubleshooting so far:
In Add or Remove Programs, there is no MS OneDrive listed.
When bring up the Start menu and type OneDrive, it shows up, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

Onedrive is tied into Windows 10. There is no way of getting rid of it. Especially if you are signing in with your Microsoft login.

There was a profile and I deleted it, then restarted my computer.

But when I go to save a MS Word file, it's still offering me a OneDrive option. I think there must have been a recent update that undid something I configured, and I need to do again, because I don't want to see OneDrive anywhere. I don't know how/where to sign out.

I also want to check this onedrive thing and make sure none of my documents are data are there.

It can sometimes feel like a magnet.

Good idea to start with then. Go on a web browser and manually log into your Microsoft Account. Once you are logged in, you will see the huge amount of online services Microsoft has added to your account without really saying alot, i was shocked.
Ive had my Hotmail account since about 2001, when it was really quite basic, MSN Messenger, a few extra services on the disc, not much. Logging into Microsoft online now, you will find alot of additional individual apps and services which never existed before. Go through them all and disable/disable/disable. Like Googles, some new apps/services seem to be on by default and 'sharing/syncing'. For me, none of it is needed, so off, off, off.

I think Google Drive and all their other services are powerful, its nothing compared to what Microsoft has on offer. Tapping into OAP's modern digital hearing aids will be the next thing ! Data data data, we need it. What for i ask.

The old school way of installing Microsoft software onto the hard disc is a thing of the past now. Its all about pocket computers, tablets, mobile phones, which dont have the space to install anything, so this is the prefered way of doing things. Some Laptops now only come with a 32Gb SSD, hehe, pathetic isnt it

Everybodies in a rush, on the go, no time to talk to anyone, rush rush, busy, work, kids, cooking, lifestyle, seems that its what people wanted, not me. I'll check my Emails when i get home on my PC thanks.
I get really pissed off when young kids are trying to walk across a busy road with cars, lorries and their head stuck in a phone. I blast my horn at them, make um jump hehe naughty.
Saying that, i bet many motorway accidents have been probably caused by unecessary phone notifications.

    I must be getting old

Forgot to say. To stop all Microsoft software syncing, i only log into Windows with a Local account. Then goto Windows 'Services' and disable,

    Microsoft Account Sign-In Assistant
    NetLogon
    Offline Files
    Server
