First update since April this year
18.06 2018-12-30
-------------------------
- The speed for LZMA/LZMA2 compressing was increased by 3-10%,
and there are minor changes in compression ratio.
- Some bugs were fixed.
- The bug in 7-Zip 18.02-18.05 was fixed: there was memory leak in xz decoder.
- 7-Zip 18.02-18.05 used only one CPU thread for bz2 archive creation.
Thanks for the heads-up on 18.06. Just installed it on my production PC. Will get it onto my other 8 PCs over the next few days. Happy New Year, my friend, and thanks again.

No update yet, but I noticed 7-Zip had a Bug link that goes here: https://sourceforge.net/p/sevenzip/d...ad/d3ee3821b0/
If you go to the page, it will tell you how to test this bug.Windows 10 1809 (17763) can work incorrectly with Large Memory Pages.
We need more tests of "Large Memory Pages" with different versions of Windows and different CPUs.
The Windows can work with "Large Memory Pages" (2 MiB and 1 GiB pages) instead of default 4 KiB pages.
7-Zip and some another programs can use "Large Pages", that can provide better peformance than default 4 KiB pages. But most programs use only default 4 KiB pages. So users do not see any failures in common system usage. But we can get some failures in 7-Zip, if "Use Large Memory Pages" feature in 7-Zip was enabled by user.
It's important to find all system/CPU configurations with failures. So we will be able to disable "large pages" feature for such system configurations in 7-Zip.
Probably this bug is not same bug as the last year's bug in Windows 10 with "large pages", that was fixed already.
If you have contacts at Microsoft, please report and ask them about that new bug.
Not this is nothing for "normal" users to worry about, but professional and heavy users might want to look into it.
