Alarm doesn't work properly in the morning

    Hello guys!

I've a trouble with pre-installed alarm on my Windows 10 1903. The trouble exists only when PC has been inactive in hours. The alarm is set to wake me up every morning at 9 AM and only this alarm setting isn't working properly. It start ringing, but only when and as fast as I move mouse or hit any keyboard key, not the desired time. When I test it out and set an alarm in next 15 minutes, lock screen by Win + L and turn monitor manually off, to improvise as I always do over the night, it's working as it should, but never after being inactive over whole night over +5 hours. Alarm has been set to excluding from Focus Assists which is set between 0 and 8 AM (alarm is set to 9 AM when Focus assists is automatically turned off), and it's working normally when I test it with Focus Assist being on. The alarm is checked as a background app. Hibernation is off, turning screen off after being inactive more than 2 hours is on. Desktop is running 24/7.

    What's wrong?

In the "Advanced Power Settings" what is the hard disk setting? It is the only thing I can think that is maybe causing a problem.

    Or maybe "Allow Wake Timers"

Don't know if you're still looking for an answer, but this might help - How to use Alarms & Clock app in Windows 10. There is a note about the PC needing to be awake for notifications, but it's not clear if it applies to the alarm itself or whether the alarm itself would wake the PC. And I don't use alarm so...

If you see a warning that notifications only show if the device is awake, make sure your device doesn’t go to sleep (Go to Settings > System > Power & sleep to adjust your device’s sleep settings).
    Source: Link above.

    Good luck.

Yes, but as told, the PC is ON 24/7, never put in in sleep or hibernate it, so it should work then?
It worked today, without doing any changes. I don't get it...

I must say that it worked as it should last 3 days. I haven't changed anything so I don't really understand what happened to it.

Well as I said, I don't use Alarm so I can't say how or what's going on with it. Perhaps you should Google it and see what others are saying.

    Good luck.

There's nothing about it on internet. Anyhow, thanks for your input.
