    Need change background colouring PDF

    Hello

I have a Lego instruction manual for Ghostbusters Fire Headquarters as a PDF, unfortunately the background is black, as is the printed manual, makes it difficult to read.....need to change the background to white..

tried Acrobat PRO, Edit, preferences, accessibility, but although I can change the background to white, I only have a save as option which doesn’t save the changes. If the saved file is opened in a browser it’s not changed.

help please, quite happy to use a free PDF editor if it will do what I want, but curious why acrobat doesn’t save changes.

    thanks

A quick search would find you this. Manual Instruction for LEPIN 16001 Firehouse Headquarters - Compatibl…. Plenty of other sites out there devoted to lego.

You could try WPS writer... that handles pdf documents

Libre Office too- but it's a bit complicated if I've understood it correctly:

    Hello

that will help for now, but it’s a slideshow not a PDF so can’t migrate to iBooks.....

yes there are several around, but can’t search for one with a white background.

my original questions remains, how to simply change the background colour of the official manual to white..

maybe someone can help me, seems a simple task.

    thanks

    Thank you for your reply.

Download wps writer, open the document in it, change the background colour, save document. Have you tried it?

    Which is a slideshow?

    Why not upload your document?

Don’t want a page by page website, really want the PDF I have with a white background, does WPS writer keep it as a PDF ?

also can’t see why acrobat PRO doesn’t save the changes....

    Thanks........

P.S. the PDF is 38MB think to big to upload !

Check the last post in this thread in Adobe community. Should work with Adobe pro (you stated, that you have it)
Black background is added as a black object in Adobe Indesign.
Your original manuals are available via Lego site... (137 MB)

Basic idea is to print the document (via Adobe print to pdf) in color (CMYK) separations, then delete the black pages...

Download a new version using the link I provided before. Then follow the information in the other links that I posted.
