    Sound Software


    I seem to have two sets of soundware - Realtek HD Audio and Nvidia HD Audio. The Nvidia seems to apply to monitor speakers which I never use. should I just leave be, or remove nvidia sound items.?

    Realtek is the regular PC sound. NVIDIA is for HDMI sound.
    If you never plan on using HDMI sound, just disable NVIDIA sound in the Device Manager, you don't need to uninstall it.

    thanks very much. I have an HDMI cable fitted but visual. I'll disable Nvidia and take it from thee
