can i use cc cleaner with windows 10 and it is it safe . anybody use it. Was told dont need to use because damage windows 10. I have been using it for years in win 7

The software can efficiently clean items listed in the windows and applications tabs.
Most do not use the software to clean the registry.
Those that use it on the registry should have backup images as we sometimes see unexpected problems with long term use.

I have used it regularly in W10, mainly to clear the cache and cookies across all my browsers in one click. Just don't use its registry cleaning.

There's little or nothing to be gained by 'cleaning' the registry anyway, so why risk it?

I use it to selectively delete unneeded restore points. The other features are fine but I don't use it to 'clean' the registry. Wise Disk Cleaner is also good at deleting junk Wise Disk Cleaner - Free Disk Cleanup and Defrag Tool missed by Windows Disk Clean

CCleaner used to be a handy utility for me back in the Windows7 day. Now I am not using it, simply trying not to clutter my system, regularly using clean disk and disk optimization tool.

True, but MS clean up apps still only clean up the MS browsers. They won't touch the caches or cookies of any 3rd-party browsers you may have.

I've used CCleaner for years w/o any problems,
As far as damaging Windows 10, I've never seen it. Maybe cleaning the registry is a factor but I don't know that because I don't use the registry cleaner.
