    Uninstall Program Without Installing Bloatware

Downloaded Nox (an Android emulator) and during installation it installed several bloatware programs which I promptly removed. Those same programs were reinstalled when I uninstalled Nox. I restored my PC to a point before the uninstall and would like to uninstall it again w/o the bloatware being reinstalled.

Never seen bloatware installed (or reinstalled) during an uninstall. Strange.

    Thanks as always

Most freeware, not all can be made portable by using 7-ZIP to unzip to a folder if possible. NOX is one that you can unzip with 7-ZIP without running the installer.

When install a piece of freeware, carefully read each screen for any offer to install extra bloatware before clicking NEXT.

I tried a similar emulator last year which trashed Defender on uninstalling the program. I had to recover from my Reflect backup.

Thanks for the replies. I used system restore to handle it.
