Universal app launches itself after Sleep and using Nvidia GPU

    Hello
i recently did the error of updating my universal apps through windows Store(until then i had no issues).
what's happening now is that after waking from sleep i can see the Yourphone app running both in Task manager and in the Nvidia GPU activity icon.
Background apps are set to Off and i never used the Yourphone app.
about it using the Nvidia card,i tried to set the app to use the 'power saving gpu' in Settings/Graphic setting which helped for a while, but it's back to using nvidia now.(there's a solution to add yourphone.exe to the Nvidia "program settings" and set it to 'optimal power' which i might try if it persists),but preventing it from running is the main issue.
i would have already uninstalled the YourPhone app through Power-Shell, but i recently stumbled upon this:
"The Your Phone app is deeply integrated into Windows..."
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...your-phone-app

i saw what might be a solution here which i can't find right now where through Group policy you have to "turn off tile notifications" .
i don't mind doing this since I've already turned off live tiles on all the apps i was able to through the Start menu,
but in group policy(in the description)it says:
"if you enable this policy setting, applications and system features will not be able to update their tiles and tile badges in the start screen",and I'm not sure how would this affect my/classic apps and other "system features" and prefer to just Terminate the Youphone app when needed instead of messing things up.

    Hi
i recently did the error of updating my universal apps through windows Store(
    - this is normally automatic anyway..

    Given that, and you mention
    Yourphone
    - might that be different to the default "Your phone" (with a space)?

-i disabled automatic updates for apps in Microsoft store settings.

-it appears as 'your phone' in start menu and Setting, but it's Yourphone.exe everywhere else.

and there are countless threads like mine about it running on its own or using Nvidia(same for other Universal apps),but mine has a very curious comportment getting launched only upon waking from sleep.

mine has a very curious comportment getting launched only upon waking from sleep.
    - that suggests a scheduled task being triggered e.g. by event id 15 or 1

This covers a range of related issues- perhaps you've seen it.

    includes instructions on removing it

    e.g. from all current accts
    OPTION SEVEN
To Remove Specific Listed Windows Apps from All Accounts or New Accounts in Command Prompt
    1. Open an elevated command prompt.

    - and see relevant command line below.

If unsure about that, update your Windows disk image before making changes. (Macrium reflect- free/paid + external storage for disk images e.g.) - members here tirelessly recommend using disk imaging routinely to give you a means of quick recovery

how can i find if there's a scheduled task for the Yourphone app?i tried looking a bit in task scheduler but wasn't sure where to find it.

first link solution is to disable background apps which i already did and second link is about uninstalling it which as i mentioned I'm hesitant in doing so since it's now "deeply integrated into Windows...".

    1. use this and search for it
    https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/task_scheduler_view.html

    2. I've told you to protect yourself by creating a disk image. If things go wrong, you restore the image. I hope you're already using disk imaging anyway.

If you have doubts about using that tutorial, kindly post a question for Brink, the author, below it...
