Cortana - Cannot disable or stop

    Enable or Disable Cortana in Windows 10 but using option 3

    I am in Win 10 Home press download to move .reg file to desktop, then go to desktop and double click, it installs itself

    Yes, I've tried that with no success. By the way, there's no Option 3. It's Option 2 -> Step 3.

    Also can you please confirm, when you type "news" in the start menu and wait for a few seconds, you don't get online search results within the start menu?

    Did you look at the link I sent. Section 1. Then Section 2 then option 3: Disable Cortana Press download. Its obvious and easy. I get nothing in start menu to do with 'news'. I am a numpty and it works easily for me

    What makes you think I didn't try that option, after explicitly saying thrice that I've tried the regex option?

    Just used CCleaner and it can remove Cortana
