    Cortana Tweaks


    Does anyone know a way to force Cortana to stay windowed when awoken rather than going full screen?

    Also I’d love to find a way to force it’s speech windows to auto close after answering, rather than hanging around.

    Hi, what is your Windows build? win key + r, winver or Settings, About.
    Things changed a lot in build 1903, and sadly it's not a forum requirement to specify your build so we have to keep asking.

    Are you using a desktop/laptop/tablet...? (No specs).

    I saw a full screen response first when I tried today, then closed that. Thereafter I see:

    That window closes after a couple of seconds.

    There has never been any fix for this. You can look through Microsoft’s GitHub code for Cortana and see if you can roll your own dix. Microsoft . GitHub
