Windows 10 clipboard settings and options

I'm trying to coordinate the clipboard settings with the Your Phone app to sync the clipboard with other devices. It's asking me to install the Swiftkey app. What does a keyboard app have to do with this? How does it work? It asked me to send a message to my phone. I got a link to the the Swiftkey app in the text message and clicked on it, but it was intercepted by my Ublock origin adblocker, so that was odd considering I believe it's a microsoft app.

The last time I tried to do something like this was with cortana, It required me to install the microsoft launcher on my phone, which completely takes over the home page theme, making a mess of it. I don't want to go down a road like that again.

Also, is there a way to create a shortcut to the clipboard history (not a keyboard shortcut), or perhaps someone could recommend a good clipboard manager?

I have been using Yankee Clipper III since W98 up to my W10 Home. It is nothing fancy but does the job.

kitpzyxmsir, reading up on Swiftkey I don't see what use it is either, Other than maybe something to do with it's cloud function. Maybe as it said, this is an upcoming feature and not available yet?

dekeforty, why do you need Yankee Clipper? The built-in clipboard in Windows 10 is pretty good.

I remember Yankee Clipper. I'll ckeck it pout again.

Guess what? I already had Swiftkey installed on my phone. Maybe it's there by default, cuz I don't remember putting it there.

I should read more carefully. I'm glad you emphasized that, since it didn't sink in at first. This is so strange. They're offering an app that may or may not, as yet, do what they suggest?

I see what part, if any, it plays in this whole thing and let you know.
