I made a new string on the following registry key:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
I got the program to start on windows startup. But I need it to open minimized.
What do I need to do to make it open minimized...Thanks...

You can set the shortcut for the program in the Run folder to always open minimized using option 1 below.

HI Brink, I did not want to bore you all with all the details.
I've been trying everything I know to make Logitech G Hub software open on windows startup. (How it is suppose too)
The program has a big glitch in it.
If I run it the default way. It starts on startup but does not see my mouse.
If I run it with admin rights, it will not start on windows startup, but if I tick it manually it will see my mouse.
The only way I got it to work with admin rights is with the string above.
I tried your suggestion, it was one of the first things I tried, but it will not start on startup, on normal window nor minimized.
I checked the default startup path of the program and it reads like this
C:\Program Files\LGHUB\lghub.exe -- background
But I don't want to add -- background to it till I get an opinion from someone who knows how windows reads and executes commands. Which in my case could be all the persons on this forum...LOL...
In that case, you might give this below a try to see how it works for you:
1) Create an elevated shortcut using the method in the tutorial below to run this program.
Create Elevated Shortcut without UAC prompt in Windows 10
2) Put this elevated shortcut in the Startup folder.
3) Use the method I posted earlier to have this shortcut run minimized.
Well Brink, I took a chance and added -- background to the path exec and it worked perfect. G Hub started saw
my 502 Hero Mouse and the icon is present in the system tray and it opens G Hub app with all the functions present and working.
It is working as if I had written the code myself...Ha...Ha...
Thanks for all the help Brink, if it had not worked I would have made elevated shortcut, but since it worked I saved myself 20 steps.
Because adding this -- background was a lot faster.
Note: If anyone see's this post and tries this method. Just be careful I saw some other paths ending with \mini and with
-background. So look at the original path of the default string in:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
to be sure you use what the program is looking for to minimize...
