Driving me nuts

I've somehow 'lost' MSVCR110.dll and MSVCP110.dll. So Cyberlink Power2Go 11 won't run. Seems that those 2 dlls are part of those Microsoft Visual C Redistributable packages that lazy companies such as Cyberlink lean on because they're too inept to develop their own C++ codes for their own products. Thus, they're "shared" files. I

HATE

shared files.

So I uninstall P2G and reinstall it, and it still won't run because it begs for those dlls. I look online, find them and install them. MSVCR says it can't install, there's a newer version already installed. (P2G11 isn't that old, it's not like it needs Quicktime2 or something.)
MSVCP says Uninstall or Repair. I choose Repair. Looks okay.

I install P2G again and same thing, it wants both those dlls to run.

Besides reinstalling Win10 from scratch, can anyone think of any quicker alternatives?

that is Visual C++ 2012 - You have a few options
On x86 System those 2 files are found in Windows\System32
On x64 System the 64Bit Files are found in windows\system32 and the 32Bit files are found in windows\syswow64
Depending on the Program.exe Architecture you can also just place the correct *.dll file side by side (in same directory) with the Program.exe

Companies arnt lazy its designed that way as ms no the code 7n the dll is secure so its there for people to use sooner than write bad code. The dlls may need to be registered not just put in a folder

But some software requires the specific DLL version, in that case, you have to replace the file manually.

Too many solutions and variables. If I choose one and go forward with it my Vegas odds are that I'm gonna screw it up even further.
Guess I'll just go ahead and reformat this POS.

Shared libraries are one of the hallmarks of modern computing.

That you lost two files is not the fault of the files, nor of shared libraries.
Your dislike of them dissuades no one.
