Printing PDFs from Windows Command Line

    Hello,

I'm searching application to print pdfs from command line. Print with page orientation and duplex. I found only commercial solution. Is there full free alternative?

    Thanks for tips.

try Foxit reader. Not sure about extra switches, but printing is fine. It uses the last printing settings.

Adobe reader is capable of printing, but options are limited in free version

    AcroRd32.exe /t <file.pdf> <printer_name> <printer_driver> <printer_port>
Edit: found another one (free) from Columbia.edu. They have utility build around PdfXchange software.
Not sure about orientation, but looks promising

Duplex printing: PDF-XChange Viewer cannot save a duplex-printing option as the default. To print in duplex mode, modify the settings of your Windows printer (in the Windows Control Panel or Settings app) to enable duplex printing, or create a duplicate copy of your Windows printer, set it to print in duplex by default, and specify that printer when running PDFtoPrinter.exe. Search the web if you don't know how to create a duplicate copy of your Windows printer or if you don't know how to specify duplex printing in your Windows printer properties.
Another interesting one is 2printer. Free for non-commercial use
2Printer command line tool can print PDF, HTML, JPG, DOC, XLS, PPS and other files used in document workflow in practically every office!
duplex and orientation can be set
