Hi, if you are experiencing multiple problems I suggest you
- check your disk and file system (e.g. HD Tune, chkdsk)
- perform an in-place upgrade repair install
which keeps all progs and data
For this you will need an iso of the same build as your installed OS (freely downloadable).Otherwise- do you have a recent disk image you created you could restore? tenforums repeatedly advises users to use diskimaging routinely e.g. Macrium Reflect (free/paid).
However, if your problem is related to one app only, please confirm you have tried this:
Reinstall and Re-register Apps in Windows 10
- search for News, note the command line, then follow the instructions at the top of the section.
If you still have a problem with this app, please create a new user for test purposes, log in as that user, and advise whether News works.
